The deadline to register to vote in your state primary elections is Friday, August 18th.  Every voice matters and every vote counts.  What’s the difference?  Your voice influences the voters and their votes determine who will represent our voice.

Voting in every election is important; from your local town council to Congress.

Why is it important to vote in November?  Let’s break it down.

  • Governor Mitt Romney has selected Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan to be his Vice-Presidential candidate.
  • Representative Ryan has a history of not supporting Infertility treatment.  Specifically, he co-sponsored a bill, The Sanctity of Human Life Act.
    • If the bill passed, embryos would be deemed “people” in the legal sense.  Thus, if the embryos used during an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) cycle, don’t become babies after being implanted into the uterus, they would essentially become murder victims under the law.  Do you think many doctors will be performing IVF cycles with this possible threat?

You can be certain that those voting based on their religious and moral beliefs about embryos will be voting to get Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan into office.   While the treatment for the disease of Infertility would not normally be threatened by a Presidential election, this year, it could be.

What are we asking you to do?
